Our key area of expertise that sets us apart from anyone else is our capabilities in conducting socio-economic analysis with a focus on input-output modelling. This particular approach allows you to quantify the contribution of a specific commodity very clearly on the basis of a few predefined indicators such as output, value add, employment, tax revenues and more.

  • Founder & Project Manager

    With over a decade of experience metals/minerals/commodities analysis, Johann founded Wiebe Commodity Consulting in 2019 to assist companies conducting SEA related work. Through this work, he helps organisations quantify the various contributions, in terms of value add, tax revenues, employment etc, specific commodities add to a country, region and/or society as a whole.

 

Meet the Team

Together with a small team of experts within socio-economic analysis, Wiebe Commodity Consulting will develop and manage your project from start to finish.

  • Lead Modeller

    Over a decade of experience in excel based VBA and database modelling including building and updating SEA input-output models from scratch.

    The lead modeller will be responsible for assessing the input data and building the model. He will also investigate and sense check the results.


  • Lead Analyst

    The lead analysts has 7+ years experience in analysing metals and commodities markets. She has worked through all stages of analytical requirements from data gathering, report writing through presenting the results.

    The lead analyst will request the input data from various sources and liaise with the specific data requirements with the lead modeller. She will interrogate the model outcomes and assist in writing up the report and presentations.

  • Junior Analyst

    Tore has 2 years experience covering energy and metal markets.

    The senior analyst will assist the lead analyst in all tasks.

  • Lead Designer

    The lead designer works will a multi faceted portfolio covering all design related aspects for multiple clients. We will make use of his skills on a part-time basis. He brings a wealth of experience and creative problem solving skills to the team.

    The lead designer will assure that the products produced from the outcome are in the correct format and banding.
